Small Job, Big Improvment. Plus JFK.
I received a call from a sweet old man who needed a mini blind repaired in this kitchen. When I got to his house, the blind was hanging on busted brackets by string tied in knots. It must of have been 20 years old. His wife, who passed away a year earlier, had purchased all new stainless steel appliances and had asked him to finish remodeling the home just before she died. I told him his orange mini blind was pretty much done and that I could get him a new mini blind to match the appliances for $50. He was very grateful and told me of some unscrupulous contractors who had tried to take advantage of him. He then proceeded to tell me of his encounters with the ghost of JFK which went on for a half an hour . Yes, this was around Halloween and it was a little freaky. His wife and John F.Kennedy were waiting for him on the other side . Okaay. He has other blinds and will be calling me back. At least I'll be prepared this time.
